Hi Scotty, My 2016 sierra has the Chevy Shake ~120-130kmh from the rear. Changed Tires and rebalanced to perfection, New unjoints and rebalance the shaft, new pads/rotors, new shocks. I don’t know what else to DO! I notice that the shake goes away when I turn Right. Thanks.
The shake goes away when you turn right so check wheel bearings and check wheel bearings on the left side you strain the right when you turn right and loosen the strain on the left so worn bearing on the left side would go away when you turn right
You are a Genius!
The shake is gone (at least 95% better) still a little vibration that is barely noticeable at about 130kmh but it’s probably expected after all it’s a Truck.
So none of the wheel bearing or shaft showed any sign of wear or slack but changed the bearings anyway. The c-clips did have signs of wear and changed them. Do you think the shake was related to the c-clips?
I also read something about changing differential(locker) oil(synthetic) could also fix the shake… I don’t know.
