Chevy TB 4.2 fan Clutch issue

Hi Scotty, 

im having problems with removing my fan clutch on my 02 Chevy trailblazer. The tool I using is a 1 7/16 wrench from menards OEMTOOLS Fan Clutch Holding Tool with the spring clips. The tool keep 🤬slipping 🤬🤬!! And when I finally got it on it so hard to broke it free. It’s very very Annoying 

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you got a cheap tool that doesn't fit right realize places like AutoZone they will rent you tools free that fit. I personally use a matco tool but it cost an awful lot of money and professional mechanics generally only buy them
