2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT, 5.3 Vortec V8, automatic transmission, 178,000 miles. Having a possible ABS problem. A failed wheel speed sensor caused the vehicle to go into Non-ABS mode. Replaced the wheel speed sensor and now it goes into either ABS or Non-ABS mode. When it's in ABS mode, the truck jerks on first take-off, the traction-control light flashes and a groaning noise is heard when applying brakes. When in Non-ABS mode, it doesn't jerk, no groaning noise is heard and the ABS, SERVICE ABS & SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL lights stay on.
