I'm shopping for a new compact sedan. I'm torn between a new Mazda 3 and a new Toyota Corolla.
I've heard your advice regarding CVT transmissions. Would you choose the Mazda 3 over a Toyota Corolla?
This has been discussed numerous times on our forum if you do a search. In short, go with the Toyota Corolla if you plan to keep it for a long time.
Did you test drive them?
The Mazda has one of those silly earthdream engines right? I wouldn't trust it as much as the Toyota.
My bro got a Mazda3 and the visibility is terrible. You need cameras to be able to see anything outside.
EarthDreams is the Honda engine marketing term.
SkyActiv is the Mazda engine marketing term. Technically the SkyActiv term is also used for more than just engines, also transmissions, body, chassis.

My personal choice would be the Mazda 3, but my recommendation would be the Corolla.
