clicking noise when driving at 60+ mph from front of car

ok i have a 08 honda odyssey touring 129053 miles a bhph van

when im driving highway speed (55+ mph) i hear something like a clicking noise that repeats intermittently as i press the gas pedal wondering if u can proceed me in the direction of what i should get look now it does have a lean on banks 1 and 2 but mechanic has narrowed it down to brake booster also klacks as i put it in d from from park no blinking D at all no transmission codes shifts fine accelerates good no slipping please any advice

Sounds like a fuel system problem. Since you say the sound comes from in front of you, then I would suspect fuel injectors. That would explain the lean mixture too.

 

If your mechanic is any good, he should be able to find the problem.

Thank you. What a deceptive name. It should really be "Buy here, pay later at exorbitant loan rates". Sounds pretty shady. Like the dealer doesn't have his poop in scoop, and needs to swindle some car buyers to keep the bank off their back.


brake booster has vacuum leak like he can hear from inside the van

the dealership has to do probably about 1000 to 1200 dollars worth of work

alternator
valve cover gasket
egr valve
now a brake booster

i was thanking fuel injection problem to cause it clicks about 10 times then stops and a few seconds later its back when driving above the speed mentioned

yes i know its a high interest rate close to max allowed by the state of south carolina

i drove it again to start doing like snapping ur fingers noise at 45 mph no transmission d light ok is
