I have a 2004 Chevy Cavellier and the clutch pedal has been hard to push and it just went "snap" and went straight to the floor. Now I have no clutch and have to get it towed home. What could be the problem? You look like a great source of info.

What could be the problem?
Just a wild guess here, but you probably have developed a failure in your 21-year-old clutch hydraulic system. Check the fluid level.
