Cobalt transmission issues

2010 chevy cobalt with 80 thousand miles on it with the auto tranny. Car is throwing up 2 codes; both transmission related (P0976,P0700). I did some research but as I didn't want to wreck the vehicle as some of the solutions we're countering one another, some being as simple as changing the fluid(although i doubt this is the problem lol) others with really sketchy wiring jobs with the solenoids. Anyways what are the possible fixes?

These are Transmission Control Module problem codes sometimes showing corrosion in the electrical connector.  Check the connection and associated wiring.

I guess my next question is how do you fix it, solder wire, replace?

Check the connection for corrosion, broken pins, oxidation or other contamination.  Check wiring for proper insulation and that they are not rubbing against metal.

what do the codes mean?

Ones a generic code and the other one is "2-3 shift solenoid valve control low voltage"
