I just bought a 2007 Toyota Sienna. The steering wheel is slightly off center when the vehicle drives straight. It doesn't pull and the tires seem to be worn evenly with no cupping or feathering. Do I need to get an alignment? Is this easy to fix or would I need to get an alignment to fix?
Thanks. I had to replace the front rack shortly after so I did it myself (pain in the butt and felt like a caterpiller for the day) but did it well and got it straighter than it was. Took it to the alignment after that.
Well done! If you don’t mind, how much was the rack? And how much for alignment?
Yes, take it to a reputed front end shop and get it aligned. The previous guys who did the alignment clearly did a shoddy job.
If you don’t care (since the car drives straight & no uneven tyre wear), just drive it as is, and fix it on your next alignment appointment.
