Happy New Year Scotty, I have a question why do most modern cars when starting cold in the morning leaves a weird exhaust smell or is it the smell of burning gasoline ? I notice this on all of our cars (2010 nissan pathfinder 4.0 L V6 with 52,781 miles, 2016 ram 1500 5.7 L hemi with 47,013 miles, 2016 hyundai elantra 1.8 L 4 cylinder with 46,581 miles ), none of them are burning any oil, this doesn't happen on warm startups. Thanks.

yeah many cars stink my wife was griping the other day that her Lexus smelled and I said it's freezing cold outside that's warming up and you just happen to open the trunk with the engine running
