Hey! So, I have recently bought a 99 Ford ranger 4.0 V6 5 speed automatic and since, I've gotten P0303 cylinder 3 misfire. I've put spark plugs, wires, new air filter, cleaned MAF sensor. I've used a spark checker and it's getting plenty of spark. The thing is is that even though it says there's a misfire. I've gotten it diagnosed by many different OBD2 scanners and they all say cyl 3 misfire, there is no actual symptom except sometimes when I cold start it in the morning to go to work. It shakes very faintly for about 2 minutes or less and then it straightens out and it's the most smooth idling truck I've ever driven. Can you please give me your best guess what it could be?
It has 213,000 miles
it could be a #3 cylinder intake manifold gasket leak. You can smoke test it
That'll be my next step thank you! Anything helps.
