I have A 2001 Mercury Marquis LS, When it starts to cool off it wont idle. I have to hold down on gas A little for about 60 sec. And then it will start to idle. I have cleaned the mas air filter, changed the air control value. Please help? Thank you Mark

I have A 2001 Mercury Marquis LS with 164000 miles on it and I think that intake manifold is cracked. In the morning when it is cold I have to start it and keep my foot on the gas for about 6 min. for it to warm up. Ok I would like to know what brand of intake aftermarket is the best to use? A new manifold will cost you more than a trip to the mechanic. It's probably just a vacuum leak.
