Hi Team!
So when I start up my 2006 Nissan Maxima SL it sounds like the sound that a playing card stuck in the spokes of a bicycle makes. After a few minutes it goes away. I think it's something to do with a cold engine but I have no idea what it is or if it's bad. Anyone have any idea?
Clarification: What is the mileage?
Current mileage is 117K.

Remove the fan belts and pray the noise goes away and it's something they drive if not it's probably the timing chain rattling around inside the engine

Sounds like the primary timing chain guide came apart causing the rattle until full oil pressure is achieved
