Scotty, I have a 2018 Chevy Malibu with the 1.5L turbo 4 cylinder engine and i plan on flushing the cooling system. Can i use prestone cooling system flush cleaner with distilled water or just distilled water only run it until it reacher normal temperature, drain it and fill it with coolant? Can i use Prestone or Peak universal coolant or should i stick with the GM Dexcool coolant?

i plan on flushing the cooling system.

Why?

Unless the cooling system is really icky (which I doubt on a 2018 vehicle) you don't need to flush it. Just replace the coolant.

Put the same thing in. Dexcool. It doesn't cost that much and you'll be good for another 5 years.

Whenever I do a flush, I don't spend money on a bunch of chemicals.  I just remove the thermostat, wrap a rag around the garden hose and let'er rip.  When done, I use compressed air to blow all the water out of the system.  Be sure to set your heater selector on High while doing this.  Make sure you properly burp all the air out of the system when you refill it with new coolant.  Get a new thermostat and radiator cap too.
