Where is my coolant disappearing?

Hello everyone,

So I have a 1999 Honda Civic DX w/ 179,000mi (AUTO) that has coolant constantly disappearing. I recently changed the head gasket, placed a new thermostat, and a new coolant temp sensor.

The thing is, there are no visible leaks anywhere. I just fill the reservoir to max, and next thing you know, it's below min after a day or so.

Thanks in advance!

If you don’t see it on the ground, your car is burning it. Have you tighten the head gasket to the specs?
Did you change the radiator?

If you didn't burp the system properly, it will take up coolant until it's full.

Try pressure-testing the cooling system. I've many times found pinhole leaks in hoses and loose hose clamps that way.

If the reservoir level drops when you aren't driving, your reservoir may have developed hard to see cracks/leaks in the bottom. 20 year old plastic does that.

How old is the radiator?  Ten years or more? You could have tiny micro cracks in the radiator that push out coolant (and burns it) when circulating. And/or an old radiator cap that releases coolant when hot.

Check both carefully.
