Coolant Flush

Hi Scotti

Every time I changed the coolant in any of my cars the water pump started leaking a week later. This has happened 3 times on three different cars 2 Chevy's and a Dodge. My wife's Santa Fe is at 60K and the manual recommends coolant be changed. In the past I have I use the premixed 50/50 zeerex or prestone recommended for the car. Anything you would recommend or should I just buy a water pump along with the antifreeze. The dealer wants over $200 .

If I screwed up please don't tell my wife {black}:sweaty:

well Chevys and dodgers are relatively poorly made these days the Asian cars are not I've never had a problem changing the coolant getting a leaking water pump after. Just use the coolant that's made for Asian vehicles long life gone

Buy the OEM coolant. Using the wrong one can make problems.
