I bought a 08 dodge ram 1500 4.7L 2WD. Milage 159310
I SAW YOUR YOUTUBE video on an issue with coolant leaking on a headers. Well my dodge ram looks like it's leaking from the headers. I've changed my radiator that leaked and it seem that I've spotted coolant on my driveway my truck is lifted 6" and I can easily see that the leak is coming from somewhere on my headers. Since I recently changed my radiator how much do I use steel seal have two (x2) for 8 cylinder. Please let me know thank you.
"Steel seal" and similar products are temporary bandaids that may not work for long or at all, and may well plug up your cooling system. If you intend on keeping the vehicle long-term it should be properly repaired.
If you are just looking for a temporary fix to get a few more miles out of it, Scotty has recommended the Bars Leaks product in the silver bottle for head gasket leaks.
