Go for the simple stuff first. Pressure test the cooling system. It could be as simple as a pinhole leak in a hose or a loose clamp. Also install a new radiator cap for good measure.

No, that's not what it's for.

No, that will not work, you must replace the radiator.

Agreed, and the radiator doesn't cost that much, and not too hard to do yourself.

A compression test is accomplished on each engine cylinder.  A coolant system pressure test is on the cooling system.. Which one did you get?

Pressure test and it says found no issues at this time

Apparently, the "dealership" you are using is either incompetent or dishonest.  Find an independent mechanic who knows what they are doing to hep you with this alleged problem.

Update  dealer said they did a compression test for over an hour and I was good there explanation was it could of evaporated cause the new coolant used or it could have a slight head gasket leak that only effects it when it gets real hot

So dealership did a compression test they said it was good but only charged me for half a hour of labor so did they run it long enough ?

Hey guy I was reading my owners manual and it said if I don't change my coolant at 6 years or 100k miles it could become low can someone please explain how it becomes low cause I know I posted this question before but I had to top off my coolant and the ford dealer did a pressure test they said it wasn't losing pressure. 2012 fusion 2.5L 4cyl 89k miles

Well the additives of coolant break down after time so you do want to change it that often you don't want to cause problems from something that's cheap it's just replacing the antifreeze

Do yall think I could put at205 in my coolant resavuaur to seal a slow leaking crack in my radiator without a big chance of it clogging up my whole cooling system 2012 fusion 4cyl
