Hello I have a 2000 Silverado 4.8 161,000 miles, 2wd, I have been getting a burning coolant smell from the from front of the truck, sometimes I smell it and sometimes I don't, no leaks, I have replaced water pump, thermostat, upper radiator hose, lower radiator hose, heater core hoses and quick disconnects from heater core, any suggestions would help

How did you check for leaks? Pressure test? UV dye? How old is your radiator cap? The smell has to be coming from somewhere and that somewhere is a leak. Even a tiny pinhole leak is enough.
