Nissan 300Z Mechanic in Los Angeles -- Recommendation needed

Hi Scotty

I have been enjoying your show for years now. Thanks for all the great advice!

I am asking for a friend who owns a 1993, Nissan, 300ZX, 2+2, non turbo, automatic, 200,XXX miles, transmission rebuilt a few hundred miles ago..

Transmission does not feel right, and it sounds like the engine strains before gear changes. Can you please recommend a 300Z expert mechanic in the Los Angeles Area?
