Hey Scotty i just recently purchased 2004 GMC Envoy XUV with 80,000 miles on it. Have I bought a solid car?

They were made better back then but the thing is 20-21 years old now so you can expect to start seeing age-related problems. The most important thing is how it's been maintained and treated over the last two decades. You can get an idea of inherent failure trends here:

The mileage is suspiciously low, but still high enough for lack of maintenance to cause problems.
