Coolant temperature fluctuation

I have a 2005 Buick LeSabre custom with the six cylinder 3.8. It has a temperature gauge, and the needle sits right in the middle during vehicle idling an operation. It also has a coolant temperature reading on the dash, which fluctuates between 188° and 210°. Next to the coolant temp, it always says “normal“. The fluctuation in coolant temp doesn’t affect the engine temperature gauge.  Is it normal for the coolant temperature to fluctuate that much? The level checks OK. Should I be concerned that either my radiator, cooling fans, or thermostat is not working optimally?

Yes, it's quite normal for a car's coolant temperature to fluctuate slightly within that range.
