How often should I change all AWD fluids in a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO which is AWD? It is maturely driven in SE New England, very fast and I want to keep it a long time. It is a 3.5L Ecoboost V6 w 2 turbochargers, dealer maintained with 117,000 miles, no troubles in drivetrain. Change fluids or leave it alone? Many thanks! Steve 🙂

You picked the wrong car for long-term reliability without costing a fortune. I'm pretty sure the car's water pump is internally driven, the timing chain also drives the water pump. It should take a competent DIYer around 2 to 3 hours to change a normal water pump, if you've never changed one before. The whole engine needs to come out in order to replace that water pump, which needs a mechanic to fix. Being that car is around 12 years old now, you might want to consider a water pump change as preventative maintenance.
