Hey Scotty,
love your videos helped a ton. I am a student from Germany and bought a manual Corolla 97 PS with 154447km. The clutch has it and is going to cost about 600 Euro to repair. Before investing a lot of money I need to find solution for the following problem, when my engine is warm (AC is not activated, Light is off) my idle goes down to 600 rpm and stays there, which in return sends vibration through the car. I cleaned the PCV Valve, MAF Sensor, cleaned the throutle body and plate and the IAC Valve even the alternator is new. Nothing helped. A mechanic told me it's common and it's the ECU. Another one the piston rings may have it but I don't have a massive oil consumption or smoke coming out of my pipe. The last time I checked I had no codes.
I have no idea what to do. :C
Best regards
Daniel
Is the age cars will often idle lower you can pray it's just a vacuum leak or dirty fuel injectors or a throttle that's sticking cuz it's dirty but it's not bad it can easily be the ECU and you don't want to spend that kind of money the lower I don't want hurt anything
