Saw Scotty's video showing replacing the Toyota PCV valve. My Corollas 2010 and 2012 the PCV valves are located under the intake/exhaust manifolds. Utube videos show this to be a big job to replace a little $10 part. Considering the problems this little device can cause what is with Toyota putting this in such a bad location?

Amen brother. Swine engineers. I have a 2014 Camry with the same problem. At least for the Camry, it is possible to get it without removing the manifold, although it is a PITA. Possibly the same with your car. Scotty recommended adding an oil catch can to help the PCV last longer.
