- Hi Scotty, I have a 2005 Honda Element LX & live in CA. What if I don't hv room for all the tools needed to repair my own car, I am not that strong & don't hv a place to work on my car ... can you suggest a website or where I can find repair cost list given what's needed to hv done?
- It seems every time I take my car to hv repair there is a magic number given to me. $750.00 last time for 2 swaybar & control arms for this year. Each year the cost is higher. Plus after having the work done to my car the car rides worse. I took a look under the car and saw that my ball joint r now torn. Shouldn't the mechanic replace the ball joint even if he'd didn't reck them? It's all in the same area (parts removed to do the sway bar & control arm) in the first place? I also feel like a woman gets a different charge price then men, maybe I'm imagining it?

I’m sorry to hear your bad experiences.
I don’t know any website for that purpose but I think the best thing is to find a trustworthy mechanic and to do that, you should ask around. Ask the auto part stores in your local areas to tell you about good mechanics. If you ask some of the auto part stores, you will definitely find a good mechanic.
