My 2003 Infiniti G35 threw a P1772 Code. I know I need new brake pads soon. Could that cause the code or is it more likely something else?
Should I replace the low coast brake solenoid valve or just get new brakes and hope that fixes it?

Well that code dose point to Low Coast Brake Solenoid Valve,
It could also be a wiring issue on the car, so have it diagnosed correctly first.
If you need new brake pads you should prioritise that work first,
No point in going if you can't stop.
