Scotty I couldn't find video to watch again on what to watch out for on Lexus and Toyota old cars. I'm considering a 2001 Lexus Sedan 8 Cyl or maybe a little younger 6 cyl Lexus 350. Would you mind running thru that again?  About to buy something maybe. Also do you have opinion on buying a salvage 2015 Nissan Altima 4cyl that runs, drives, rides fantastic. It's salvaged because of accident on front hood, fender, bumper, and fan. All else is OK. Do you think $6900 is too much? I'm concerned about not being able to recoup cost of vehicle if totalled in accident. I'm poor and can't afford to lose $7K. Thanks for advice if you have time to offer. thanks, Richard

Rich or poor, it’s usually a bad idea to venture into salvage vehicles, unless you know exactly what you’re doing..

Get the V6 Lexus & thank your wallet later..

Salvage vehicles are never a great idea especially a Nissan. Both lexus models are good but the v6 will cost less to maintain.

Adding salvage to a Nissan product results in disaster. About the Lexus, never buy a used V8 models unless it is not old and has very low mileage and you got plenty of money for spending down the road. The V6 models are better in terms of maintenance and repairs. With that said, have a mechanic check any car you want to buy. Good luck.
