I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma Offroad v6 with 27,000 miles on it. I have done some research and found that people report problems with the 2016 and 2017 Tacomas however it was also made in California. People complain about the shifting but mine shifts fine. Overall, what should I expect out of the truck? Should I be scared that I will encounter many problems?

You’ve already got it. Do the best you can to maintain it as per the book & cross your fingers.
