Hi, my 2011 Ford Escape v6 AWD with 64,000 miles just recently started making creaking noises when I slow down and brake, when turning corners and even when the vehicle is just idling. However, creaking noise is intermittent; one time I’ll hear the noise, the next time nothing. Noise is coming from the front end, but doesn’t sound like any kind of engine noise. Checked front struts (pushed down on the hood) and they are reasonably stiff, and just had lower control arms, sway bar links and outer tie rods replaced about a year ago. Hope someone can figure this out!!
Thanks.
Warren rubber bushings do that even if it has no play cuz vehicles don't have grease fittings anymore. But you could get some at 205 reseal Amazon sells it.and pour some a little spray bottle and spray all the rubber bushings and off in the creek will go away it can last for six to eight months then you reapply
