Transmission stops working after driving it for about seven to ten minutes on the freeway. This has happened twice but will run fine the following day after sitting overnight We drove the car on the streets for short periods of time in which it hasn't done this. What could be causing this problem? And is there a remedy for less than $1200.00 US? {black}:scared:

Well that's sort of a serious problem in most cases but do drain out the transmission fluid by dropping the pan then put new Toyota fluid and one quart of Lucas stops slipping and see what happens after 250 mi of driving or so it can often help
