My mom purchased a used 2010 equinox from her mechanic. It is salvage title otherwise in good condition. The heater doesn’t seem to work. He checked it and said it gets warm but that’s the best he can do. Is this a common thing with 4 cylinder engines. Or is this a common problem on these chevys. I already know your gonna say it’s a poc. And I’ve tried to stop her from the purchase.

not only are those junk or vehicles but buying one that was wrecked and salvages even bigger mistake odds are it needs a new heater core though and that's a very expensive deal.but to go to a better mechanic one who will flush and back flush the heater core it doesn't take about an hour and that might help
