Hybrid camry brake heat

Hello,

Got a 2023 camry hybrid with its 18 inch rims I think alloy
Wanna change it to 14 inch black steel rims

For smoother ride

& Less Hussle with bad road

Was wandering

Since the steel wheel is kinda lowering the air flew a bit:

1- will it heat the rim and blowup the tire?

My tire pressure is usually set at 30psi when using small steel rims on my work cars

I drive at fast at highways

But take corners slow to not eat tire sides special when loading...

2- does it effect the hub parts from sensors and brake pads and hybrid regenerative braking system parts .. negatively?

3- in terms of regenerative braking system regenerating electricity .. will it charge better or worse .. when the hub is a bit hot .. vs when it was with its 18 inch rims?

FYI .. i live in a hot are where sometimes heat reach max of 60c .. & i Uber mainly daily...

Well it shouldn't cause overheating problems but really realize that thing was designed by professional engineers and if you start changing the wheel it's going to mess with gas mileage, airflow all kinds of things. I would personally leave it alone

@scottykilmer
Then a steel 16 inch wheel
Which the base model wheel
Should do fine i guess

Anything but the low profile 18 inch rims..
We got hidden potholes and sudden unmarked bumps everywhere
Its like the city's Easter eggs 😆
