Hi scotty i have a problem with my 94 mustang gt, when i turn my car on it started to make weird explosions, and after a couple of minutes, my rpm started to bounce up and down then my car dies, i cleaned the maf sensor (it was very dirty) and it helped a lot, no more explosions, and my rpm didn't bounce anymore, however after a while it did it again(like 10 minutes after its runing)but not as bad as before, for example it didn't make explotions anymore, just bounced the rpms then the car dies, also if its the first time in the day i start my car doesn't start right away, it takes a second time to make it run, could it be the gas pump? I've never changed it or can it be the o2 sensors that make my rpms drop until it dies?
That is one old mustang so many things can do that start by spark plugs air filter fuel filter then if it still does it have a guy like me analyze it with a scan tool and see if the math sensor or the fuel injectors are going out or are the fuel pump could be weak which can be pressure tested
