What do you want in a "sports car"? Those are quite different vehicles. Do you like the sporty feel and something that's gas efficient, or do you want an actual muscle car?
The automatic transmission in the 2021+ Mustangs are the GM-Ford 10-speed automatic transmission, which has been a disaster to the point where GM and Ford say they will never work together again. The manual transmission is hecho en China as well, so neither of which are going to be all that great.
Well you never specified what years you are looking at for the respective cars nor their odometers (please follow all posting instructions).
Regardless the GR Corolla is a much more reliable car. If it is used you need to have a good mechanic inspect that thing before purchase.

I would go for the Mustang myself . At least it looks like a sports car, and it's pretty hot looking.
The Toyota looks like a toy, and kind of a chick car.
Obviously the Toyota is more reliable, but if you were after reliability, you wouldn't be buying turbocharged sports cars.
