Opinion on a 2002 Mustang

I've been looking for a fun car. Nothing to modify. I've mainly been looking at Mustang's and Camaro's. I've found a 2002 Mustang GT Deluxe Convertible with 6700 miles. It's still in new condition. The price is slightly over $16,000. It's an automatic and there have been no mods done to it. I've been looking for a newer one but with the low mileage, condition and price, I feel like I can't pass this one up. Any thoughts.

Well if that really is the mileage gobble it up that's not much mileage on a car like that and if it's taken care of they can be a lot of fun. Of course do have a mechanic like me check it out we can even tell if the mileage is real

I forgot I made this post. I just came across it while posting a question about put an aftermarket exhaust on it. I did verify the mileage was correct. It now has just under 19,000 miles on it and I love it. Every so often I think about getting rid of it but then I think of all of Scotty’s videos I’ve watched. He seems to be a very practical guy. The car has low mileage, is in perfect condition, runs amazing and I have the title. When I think of all that I can’t remember why I wanted to get rid of it.

@guitarchris76 Good to hear you're happy with your Mustang

It's more like 167,000 miles, I'll bet.

That would definitely be top dollar for a New Edge Mustang.

I'd have it checked out and if the mileage can be verified, I'd shoot closer to $14k. Great cars to modify and they sound awesome with aftermarket exhaust.
