Hello! I have a 2017 Toyota Rav4 fwd automatic. When I use the cruise control, it will set, then after a little bit maybe like ten minutes or so it will disengage and slow down. It still says the cruise is on and that it is set to the speed that I put it on. I only ever put the cruise control on when I'm on the highway going 70/75, when it disengages it will slow down to 65 and stays there. What could cause this? Thank you !
Do you have any warranty on the car? by the way, how does it disengage while keep the car at certain speed?
Adjust the "following distance" setting or turn off the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and use the conventional cruise control instead.
Can I adjust my following distance with Toyota DRCC?
To change your following distance, simply press the distance button on the steering wheel. It will allow you to toggle through three different distance settings: Short, Medium or Long.

How do I use Toyota’s conventional cruise control instead?
Press the ON/OFF button at the end of the stock, but this time hold it down for about 2 seconds. At first you’ll see the DRCC (Dynamic Radar Cruise Control) indicator, but it will soon change to the regular cruise control indicator. Press down on the stock to set your cruise control speed. To switch back to DRCC, click ON/OFF at the end of the stock, wait briefly and then tap the ON/OFF button again.
