Hello,
I drive a 2004 Nissan Xterra 4wd. I love the vehicle it’s got about 281XXX miles on it so it’s been driven but since I got it the cruise control has never worked. I can press the button and the light comes on but soon as I take my foot off the gas nothing happens. What would be the cause of that?

You've almost made it to 300k miles which is insane for a Nissan TBH. It's probably just a sensor but you need a high level scan tool to check the car to see for sure. If it really bothers you that doesn't work take it somewhere and have it checked out
