My girlfriend is interested in purchasing a 2017 Honda HR-V, all wheel drive, with 62k miles. It has a CVT transmission and was wondering if they are known for any issues? Thanks, hope you’re enjoying Rhode Island!

The Honda CVT's pretty good, IMHO. I drive regularly in a 2015 Honda CR-V with a CVT. It has gone 95K+ miles. No problems with the car, no problems with the transmission.

Go right ahead with the HR-V, after a professional mechanic checks the car thoroughly (including the CVT).
The new HR-V is extremely popular all over the world & the CVT has been performing quite well.
