CVT Transmission Fluid Replacement

My daughter has a 2013 Ford Cmax Energi plug in hybrid with just under 70K miles. I attempted to get the transmission fluid changed and every shop wants $350 or more to do the job. There's no transmission fluid leaks, and I explained that all I want done is for them to drain out the old fluid, measure what they take out, and replace that amount of fluid. How hard can that be? One of the shops told me it's not that simple and that the fluid is removed with a machine and that fluid is filled and the engine is allowed to run until the fluid reaches a specified temperature and when the fluid reaches a trickle from the fill plug, the correct level is achieved. That amount of labor is why it cost so much. Seems like overkill to me.

Well what they're doing is the fluid flush which I never advised to do cuz it can cause problems. So if they won't do it watch my videos how to change the fluid and you drain out whatever comes out measure it and put the same amount back in. Just make sure you use the OEM original fluid
