2000 ranger 3.0 v6 196k miles automatic
Hey Scott, have taken my ranger to a bunch of different mechanics and no one has been able to figure out what's causing this misfire, it has new ignition cables, new ignition coil pack, new spark plugs properly gapped, I've had a compression test done and the guy said that the compression on cyl3 was just a tiny bit lower but not that much lower to where it would cause a misfire. Also have had injector cleaners taken out, tested and cleaned they're all working properly. Besides this misfire it runs smooth and beautiful I love this truck it's been my daily driver for the past 3 years and also my first ever vehicle so it holds a special place in my heart. Any suggestions would be much much appreciated much love !
