Hi Scotty I enjoy your videos. I have a question regarding services offered at 30,000 intervals by the dealership. They say I need a Fuel System Service, Brake Fluid Service, and a coolant flush. I always get oil changes and tires rotated regularly. I do tow with my 2017 Ram 1500 so I had the Transmission and transfer case services done.
The vehicle is 7 years old, so depending on the manufacturer's maintenance schedule you may need a cooling system service. (Typical lifespan of various coolants is from 5 to 10 years.) One might be able to make a case for the brake fluid replacement at that age but it's possible to test for moisture in the system to see if it's really needed. The fuel system service sounds bogus.
Bear in mind that dealer service writers are paid commission so are motivated to upsell products and services you don't really need. Same at chain shops. You would be much better off taking your truck to a good independent mechanic for out-of-warranty maintenance and repairs.
