Hi,
I am about to weld a patch into my diesel fuel tank. What should I use (if any) to prime the inside of the tank to prevent corrosion? I heard zinc has undesirable chemical reactions with diesel.

two part resins are quite resistant to chemical attack
Thanks. so you just regular 2 part epoxy or is it a special type?
That's all I know. I've never patched a diesel tank. You'll have to consult to the product documentation or talk to the manufacturer for details.
