Used igniter OK for 1995 Toyota Camry?

I recently had my 1995 Camry LE 4 cylinder diagnosed and turns out it needs a new igniter. A brand new one from Toyota is over $300. I am seeing used OEM Toyota ones for $30-60 on Ebay. Does it matter if I get a used one versus a new one?

Yes, it matters. If you don't want to spend the money on OEM part, get an aftermarket one.

The used one comes with a 90 day warranty. If it dies and I have to get another, does it matter if I go aftermarket? Or would it be better to go OEM? Just don't want to buy some crappy off-brand for it to fail right after I buy it.

In this case, I would prefer to buy an aftermarket one with a good warranty from a part store.

Here is a new one with a limited lifetime warranty.  I never buy used electrical parts from Ebay.
