[Solved] do lexus need premium fuel?

I recently got a lexus 450h hybrid 2014 with 114k miles 

i was told to only use premium gas on it but I wanted to know your opinion on this

According to Lexus it requires (to my surprise) premium fuel

Use what your owner's manual says to use.

Check your owners manual, your fuel cap, and/or your fuel cap door. 

Look for words like “required” or “recommended”.
