Dodge Caliber is the new Christine!

Buckle in, there's allot! Im close to finding a cliff and putting a brick on the gas pedal so Gilbert can take a flying leap! Yes, I named my car Gilbert. Don't judge..

2010 dodge caliber rush (hatchback) -4.2L -automatic -approx 180,000 miles and a crappy attitude. (Codes at the end- bare with me, sorry)

Anyhow.. here's my issue(s)..

After driving my car a good 30 minutes this starts.. startsthis sooner if it's hot outside... (when it's cold out, it takes twice as long to start, sometimes it won't do any of this at all if it's cold out) anyhow, it starts by lunging forward a few times, stops for a few minutes and does it again. This is while im going 55-60 and it does not lose speed in the process. Then the whining starts and gets louder if I keep driving. If I'm still driving, after about 20 minutes it will drop down to third gear, until I can no longer go faster than 40.

The engine light comes on in that process. After another 10 minutes or so of driving, the temperature light will come on(this part with the temp light only happens every few times of doing all this). If I'm still driving, i lose acceleration to where I am unable to go even 2 mph. (When it starts doing this, I crank my heat to high and get my annoyed a$$ to a gas station or car wash. I usually hit the car wash and take my time giving Gilbert the douche a shower. Seems to work faster so I can get back on the road and get to my destination.) On a side note, I don't drive it very much because of this issue. I unfortunately do not have the money for a mechanic to go thru every inch of it and I'm a bit of an agreeable, ditzy blonde who knows very little about cars.... I REALLY don't want to be taken advantage of because I lack knowledge with mechanics.

Ive had my codes read several times. The last time it indicated that I needed a new o2 sensor, so I replaced both. I also replaced air filter and spark plugs, which were not bad at all but went ahead cause I bought em. Since changing all of this, I no longer get those codes but I now get new ones. Yay me, right!??

I was told I need to drain and replace transmission fluid and both transmission filters. Unfortunately my transmission is a sealed unit. (was dodge hit with a stupid stick the day they thought that would be a good idea to put in the calibers!!?) I was told a shop won't do it, so I need to take it to a dealership. Which will of course cost twice as much. I am hoping this can be done at home, if this is even an issue...?. I have no way of checking if the transmission fluid is low.

A mechanic friend checked out my car a few weeks ago, and his first thought was the catalytic converter. Then he took it for a drive. It took a good half hour of him abusing poor Gilbert for him to throw his tantrum and when he did, it confused my mechanic friend that has been a mechanic his whole life. Unfortunately, getting him to do ANY work on my vehicle is like pulling teeth. He's not reliable in that aspect. Yay me... 😐

Here are the codes being thrown after it starts doing all this.... (the last fit Gilbert threw I went to advanced auto and had someone pull codes for me and this is everything he wrote down and gave me)

P0218- --bad trans fluid temp sensor. -- damaged or missing front air dam or spoiler. -- broken cooling fan or fan clutch. -- low trans fluid. -- fluid leak from torque converter seal, pan, cooler, etc.. -- trans lines or cooler restricted. -- towing overloaded trailer leading to overheating<-- that one is a no. Never towed anything.
P0700 -- trans control system malfunction. -- faulty trans control module. -- trans valve body fault. -- shift solenoid issues. -- open or short in the wiring harness.
P0776 -- pressure control solenoid b performance or stuck off.

Also my abs light is on. I assume it's from a bad sensor on one of my tires..?. My ! light for low tire pressure has been on since I bought the car 2 years ago as well. Ive replaced the tires since buying it and the ! light went off for a few days but kicked back on.

What confuses me, is why does it not do this when it's cold out? Or atleast takes longer to do it when it's cold out.

Also, I lose acceleration going up hills, every once in a while it won't start either. Battery and all that jazz has been checked and it's good. The last time it wouldnt start, I had drove it around the block ten minutes before that. So no idea why at times it won't start..?.

Sorry for this being so long! I want to make sure and cover everything in one go for you. If you would like, I can drive it around until it starts doing all of that and then take a video, if that would help in any way. I TRULY appreciate any and all suggestions!!!! No one can figure it out when I explain it all to them.

ANY suggestions!??!
TIA!!

Praying to something as simple as a clogged catalytic converter they will heat up and do exactly that have the catalytic converter pressure tested first
