2005 Toyota Tacoma V6 preRunner
Oil Leak from the timing chain cover.
Heard it was expensive to fix.
what is the best way to slow the leak without getting it fixed?

I don't think there is a cheap fix for that.

The only correct fix is to disassemble the front of the engine and replace the gasket. You might get lucky and find that it's the front main seal leaking and not the timing cover. If that's the case, you need to pull the harmonic balancer, replace the front main seal and re-install the balancer. VOILA!
