I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado 5.3 with a 6l80 trans. MY question is Does anyone know off-hand what one is the feed line going to from trans the top line on the radiator or the bottom line ?
Clarification: Are you asking which is the feed line and which is the return line?
yes I'm asking what one is feed and what one is return line
I also have a 1999 Silverado 5.3 and it flows into the bottom of the radiator up and out the top of the radiator to an external cooler then back to to the trans all factory my 2012 someone by passed the radiator and just ran the external cooler i want to hook up the radiator and put it back as stock but lines have been cut and hose used so i dont know if i should fill from bottom like my 99 or not
not what i need i need to know dose the trans line that goes into the radiator what one is return or supply and is it the top or bottom hook up on the radiator

fluid goes into the bottom of the radiator, and out the top, but you already said that.
just wanted verification i was assuming that's the way it went or do i have it reversed
it cools the transmission fluid

the first link is for the external cooler not the radiator or I assume and the forums half the guys say top half say bottom lol
