Some drivers in southern Alberta got a nasty surprise this week after filling up their tanks with what they thought was gasoline but actually included diesel fuel — or vice-versa...It was not noticed for 3 days.

no I don't think it happens often. But goof ups seem to happen more often at these independent gas pumps. It's nice to hear the station owner is volunteering to pay for repair bills, unlike this station owner:

I’ve seen petrol & diesel nozzles on the same bowser, next to each other, USING THE EXACT SAME NOZZLE, albeit with a different coloured handle..
