Hello, I am new here so forgive me if im posting this in the wrong place or anything..
I have a toyota rav4 2004 ,
The door lock actuator was broken on it and I bought a new one and replaced it, while I was screwing everything back together “ inside door cover is still opened “ I turned around for 1 sec and the wind closed the door and now it wont open anymore, outside handle inside handle by pulling straight from the latch inside the door panel anything, when I pull the handle everything is moving but it feels like the pin that closes on the metal bracket is the one not moving at all, to remove it i need to have access to the side door to remove the 3 bolts that hold it but I cant access it, is there any other way to open the door or have access to it?

You likely need something like a SlimJim to to get in there and unlatch the door to get it opened. Or, from the inside, try to pry back the door panel to get access to the latching mechanism.

Yeah that will not work, the only way is if maybe theres a manual trigger that unlocks the latch from inside the door panel, which i cant seem to find since its covered by a plastic cover,

Alright so everything seems to work fine.
Handle pulls the wire, inside handle also, locks and unlocks.
So the last thing would be the actual latch that hooks to the metal thing thats on the car, “ dont know what to call it “

the latch goes around this to lock the door, so i think the latch is not releasing and it is stock on this part, and i have no access whatsoever to the latch to manually unlock it
