In the Fall of 2009, I bought a new 2010 Chevy Express 2500 to haul my large family around the country on vacations. It is strong enough to pull a heavy trailer and versatile enough to haul lots of stuff when the seats are removed. Over 200,000 miles later it hasn't given us any major problems. Unfortunately, 4wd wasn't an available option, so I also got an 03 Ford Explorer to plow snow. Now the kids are grown and I'm looking for one vehicle to do it all. I want something more comfortable going down the road, that can haul drywall or grandkids inside and be powerful enough to tow a load of stone and plow the parking lot.
I'm considering the Ford Expedition Max, but I'm concerned about the v6 twin turbo holding up. I'm also concerned about the chip shortage and other Ford quality issues. For instance, I will never get a sunroof in a vehicle because I don't like water on my seats.
What's your opinion of the Ford Expedition Max? I would probably order new so I get the options I want, and know the maintenance is getting done ahead of schedule.
I enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time to help us all.

Well if you buy one new you're paying an extraordinary large amount of money and they can run for usually a hundred something thousand relatively trouble free mileage. But me I'd buy a used Lexus or Acura and save more money and get a vehicle that can last three or four hundred thousand miles
